Describe yourself? |
I was the Language Editor for the NWU Bureau for Scholarly Journals from 2005 until 2010. In 2012 I became an Interpreter for the NWU, and after completing my Medical Terminology (with Greek and Latin) through UP, I started specializing in Interpreting, Translations, Editing, Online interpreting, and Live dubbing of Health Sciences classes. Since 2016 I have been the Language Directorate’s Satellite Manager for Health Sciences, ensuring that Health Sciences students are trained as Pharmacy Interpreters. I have also been a member of the BAQONDE program since 2022, a multilingual collaboration between NWU, Rhodes, UKZN, UWC, UCT, Trinity College, Universidad de Salamanca and Groningen Univeristy. I ensure that the Polokelo online repository for academic terminology is constantly updated.
