I am a German speaking South African, originally from Namibia. Growing up in a German-speaking home, I was privileged to also learn English and Afrikaans from a very young age. Thus I can say with confidence that I am fully trilingual in writing and speech. I’ve lived in Cape Town since 1995, starting my career in the administrative field in 1998. To date I have worked for both German and English run companies and have built up a comprehensive set of business administration skills and knowledge over the years. I have done some ad hoc translations (mainly German to English/Afrikaans) for friends and small local companies, and would like to pursue this in more depth. With my rich trilingual vocabulary and years of corporate experience I am very keen to take up freelance translations, proofreading, copy-writing (I am doing online courses at present) and virtual assisting. I consider myself as a diligent, detail-oriented and ambitious individual with a high emphasis on excellent quality results.
